What this site is
Tax Resolution Clarity publishes free reference material about IRS tax debt: what notices mean, what the published rules are, and what the IRS says about each resolution option. There is nothing to buy, no password-based account to create and no fee of any kind. The optional notice-reminder service uses a confirmed email address and private management link.
Notice plans and reminders
You are responsible for entering the notice number and printed deadline accurately. The reminder service does not verify, calculate, extend or preserve an IRS deadline. Calendar applications and email systems can delay, suppress or fail to deliver a notification, so do not wait for a TRC reminder before acting.
You may stop a plan through its private management link. Do not use another person’s email address or share a private plan or calendar link. We may limit automated or abusive submissions and may suspend the service for maintenance.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, print and share these pages. If you quote or reproduce material, please attribute it and link to the page, so a reader can check the sources for themselves. Do not present this material as professional advice, your own work, or as coming from the IRS.

We source pages to IRS material and correct errors when we find them or when they are reported. We link to IRS.gov, the Taxpayer Advocate Service and the United States Code so you can verify what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. We have no affiliate, referral or lead-purchase relationship with any tax resolution firm, and we receive nothing if you engage one.
